In addition to the bioethanol plant, VERBIO AG has built a biomethane plant at the Schwedt, Zörbig and Pinnow sites to further utilize the grain stillage.
A biomethane production plant with a capacity of 30 MW has been installed at the Schwedt site. For this purpose, numerous 10,000 m³ prestressed concrete tanks with a diameter of 26 m and a height of 21 m were constructed in sliding construction.
